Clevedon Rugby Club
In October 2016 under the trading name of DroneSurv, Land and Minerals Consulting were proud to be one of the sponsors of Clevedon Rugby Club’s first junior Girl’s Team (u13s). Since then, the club’s female section has grown with many of the u13 Girls staying on into a new u15 Girls Team. Some of thos girls are have now moved in to an u18 Girls Team of which DroneSurv is proud to be the sole sponsor. A Women’s Team has also been created and is doing well.
DroneSurv continue to provide financial assistance to both the u18 and u13 Girls Teams.
Clevedon School
Every October (since 2015) Land and Minerals Consulting have offered career advice to pupils (and their parents) at Clevedon School’s Career Evening. It was at our first Career Evening in 2015 that we met our first apprentice CAD draftsman and Surveyor (who continues to develop his career with us). We discuss the career paths we took, what working in our industry is like and generally promote careers in geology and surveying.
